Illustration Work
As a self-proclaimed “creepy-cute” illustrator, I like to combine a Kid Lit art style with horror elements to create a genre that is all my own. I want my art to scare and comfort at the same time. Here are some of my subcategories!
Y2K Bug
I love imbuing nostalgia with gooey, globby shapes. From food to fashion, I think everything could use a touch of creepiness!
Folklure
When I’m feeling softer, I like to use folk art elements to tell stories. I’ll rely on old fairytales and even music for inspiration!
I Don’t Think That’s Supposed To Move Like That
What’s a horror artist’s main tool? Body horror! I look at the human face and think, “what can be messed up here?” It’s simultaneously gross and beautiful.
Rule 1: Have Fun!
Illustrating in a pandemic can be difficult. But if my work can make other people have as much fun looking at it as I did drawing it, then I did my job!
Sticker Mania
Oh, and of course I love making stickers! These go great on a skateboard. Check out my RedBubble to get these for yourself!
